They're Coming...


 It's too late to stop them. Maybe it always was. But The Terran Wars are almost here!

What is stronger and more beautiful than love? What is the true cost of sacrifice? What is powerful enough to overcome the devastation of grief and loss? 

Gilda, Meek, Bernadette, the Piranha, Gabrielle, Lance Lockjaw, and yes, Otterman ALL return and team-up in the Ultimate Un-Iverse crossover event where heroes (and worlds) collide. The Grand Finale of The Un-Iverse is a massive 19-Part Epic that is by turns wonderful, devastating, subversive, pointed, and stunning all at the same time. For the first time EVER the rest of the saga will be inked and colored throughout as well! 

The End Of The World brings out the worst in some and the best in others. Who will ultimately triumph? And is victory even possible with Earth's most powerful, most prophesized Champion having been dead for ten years? Gilda Thurman believes killing Mistress Augatha was the greatest and costliest mistake of her entire life. Is she right? If so, is redemption even POSSIBLE from that? And considering all of the misery Augatha put the world through in the previous Millennium how can she now see it as anything but the gift to world's freedom it was at the time? 

Freedom sometimes has its price, and Earth's current defenselessness is Gilda's. Can she be the Champion the world needed Augatha to be without turning into the monster Augatha was to do it? 

Gilda and Meek's darkest hour is at hand. What will they need to sacrifice to save us all? And will it be enough? Is there any hope left? And if so, at what cost?

1. Gilda And Meek "Groundwork" Special Edition (Un-Iverse #1)

Rating: PG-13 (Bloody Violence and Drug Use).  A Note About The Special Edition Of Gilda And Meek "Groundwork" The first version of Groundwork looked absolutely terrible. I had not drawn in over 15 years when I put it to paper in 2015 and my weak arm and lettering indecisions made the issue look incredibly unprofessional. Not my best foot forward for getting people into Gilda And Meek on this site.  So I've taken the occasion to entirely redo the artwork with some minor script revisions. It looks much closer to my current art style and yet I feel the rough spirit of the first version is still present. As the Groundwork for the canon, it was sort of designed to be the worst issue to start out with, and to be built upon and improved from there. I think it's probably still the worst issue (as designed) but I'm no longer ashamed of the artwork. Site Clean-Up Updates And Reports (UPDATE! CLEAN-UP FINISHED!) Archive

  Here is the site progress for our clean-up!  Goals:  Cleaning up typos and mistakes, and changing every instance of Unkie Matty to Unkie Natty. Not ALL typos will be fixed (a bunch will not even be caught) but that's okay because as established in Lace Doilies "Silent, But Deadly" the typos are actually canon, whether I fix some of them or not.  What will NOT be cleaned up:  The messed up page numbers in the earlier issues. WAY too big a chore with no benefit. Worse, if I decide to do a Special Edition later on all that work would be meaningless. The wrong page numbering is just a mistake we will have to learn to live with. Formatting of this entry: Before the site clean-up became the massive undertaking it did, I simply added each day's work onto the end of the post.
