Un-Iverse Progress Reports!

New feature on the site! The site is updated so infrequently I fear some people may worry I've forgotten Gilda And Meek! In this specific entry, I will update how many pages I have completed on a given day and how much longer the issue I'm working on will likely take to complete! You'll be getting Un-Iverse updates in real time! 


March 8, 2026 

1 page tonight for a total of 51. I am absolutely refusing to overextend myself on this sequence, and if that means only doing a page or two a night when doing it, so be it. The page literally only ate up two lines of script so still looking at between 57 and 87 pages left. 

March 6, 2026 

6 pages tonight for a total of 50. I estimate there are between 57 and 87 pages left. First action sequence is coming up so I'll be able to narrow down the final page count guess after its finished. But because it's going to be kind of big there is a large chance I will need to take a break for a few days (or even a week) to charge myself up for it. Not definite, but it's possible. 

March 4, 2026 

4 Pages tonight for a total of 44. Between 61 and 94 pages left. 

March 1, 2026 

6 Pages for a total of 40. Haven't done one of the action set-pieces yet, but I am guessing it will be on the longer side anyways. Between 64 and 94 pages left. But 94 is likelier than 64. 

February 25, 2026 

6 Pages tonight for a total of 34. Between 66 and 96 pages left. 

February 21, 2026

5 pages tonight. 28 total. Will have a firmer idea of the final page count after the first action sequence in 20 to 30 pages from now. Right now I can see as few as 70 more pages and as many as 100. There are three big action set pieces in the issue and I will have a firmer idea of the final page count after each one is completed.

February 18, 2026 

5 solid pages. Not a jag. Stopped myself the second I wasn't at 100%. 22 pages total so far with an estimated 75 -105 pages left. 

February 16, 2026 

Been avoiding jags for this issue mostly, which is good, because it means I'm being extra careful. 4 pages tonight. 17 Total. Estimate there are between 80 and 110 pages left. 

February 12, 2026 

4 Pages this night. 13 total. Between 82 and 112 pages left. 

February 8, 2026

1 lousy page. An emergency came up and it wasn't one I could have safely put off, so I just got in one page. Estimated between 84 and 114 pages left. 

Actually, though, it's not lousy at all and kind of nice. 9 pages total so far. 

February 6, 2026 

4 pages today. 8 total. I estimate there are between 86 and 116 pages left. 

February 1, 2026 

The good news: 2 pages today. The bad news: Very little of the actual script is in those pages (making four pages total) so I still predict between 90 and 120 pages left. These were mostly visual pages that only ate up a couple of short paragraphs of script. 

January 28, 2026 

Stopped the site clean-up edit list for the time being and just started the next damn issue.

UnComix! Tales: The Dark Child Saga: The Fall Of F.I.S.H. #3: Part Three "The End Of Life As We Know It" (Un-Iverse #71) 

Did the cover and the first two pages. The cover wiped me and if the reader can actually tell what everything is (not a sure bet with my artwork) it's probably my best cover so far.

I estimate this one will be between 92 and 122 pages long. Between 90 and 120 pages left.

And we're done! Another 18 pages last night for a grand total of 101 pages. The story is so long that editing will be a bear. Still tentative plans to post it this Sunday on January 4, but the issue might take even longer to edit. 

December 29, 2025 

My Mom died yesterday (my Dad died last month) and I'm dedicating the issue to the both of them. So I did 18 GOOD pages tonight / this morning for a total of 83. I estimate there are between 12-15 left. If all goes to plan, I will finish the issue in the next session, and spend a few day editing it. I want to put it on the site late Sunday afternoon (January 4, 2026) but if things don't quite gel, it will be the Sunday after that. We'll see.

3 Pages tonight for a total of 62 so far. Between 31 and 46 pages left. 

December 16, 2025 

9 Pages tonight for a total of 59. I estimate there are between 34 and 49 pages left.

13 pages tonight for a total of 50. 22 Pages is not a bad week. I estimate there are between 39 and 54 pages left. More next week!

First 20 pages completed last night. I estimate the issue will be between 85 and 110 pages. Based on the script and artwork concerns, I think I have between 70 and 90 pages left. Jumping back into this next week!

Cover and dedication page completed for UnComix Tales: The Dark Child Saga: The Fall Of F.I.S.H. #2: Part Two "The Beginning Of The End" (Un-Iverse #70). Issue will probably be between 90 and 120 pages long.

Still editing. Redrew Page 46, not because it was bad. But because I think at this stage of this saga, if I'm going to go for it, I need to just freaking GO for it. 

Heads up. It is VERY possible the editing will be finished and the issue put on the site BEFORE Saturday. We'll see.

Did 13 pages tonight, finishing UnComix Tales: The Dark Child Saga: The Fall Of F.I.S.H.: Part One "The Age Of Fear". Total of 51 pages not counting cover pages. I will spend the rest of the week editing it and it will go on the site Saturday September 27, 2025, in the evening. 

September 21, 2025 

7 Pages tonight for a total of 38 so far. There will be between 6-12 left depending on how big I make the action sequences at the end. But my instinct is to lean into them and make them as cinematic as possible. 

The issue will probably be finished this week and the tentative plan is for it to go on the site Saturday, September 27.

6 Pages tonight for a total of 31 so far. Probably between 11-15 left.

Finally started The Dark Child Saga: The Fall Of F.I.S.H.. 

Technically did five pages, but in reality I did the Book title, the Spoiler Quotes, the cover (which is good) and the first two pages. 

I was planning on doing more, but it looks good so far, and I don't want to half-ass anything while I'm tired. 

I predict the issue will be between 40 and 50 pages long. I have between 38 and 48 pages left.

1. Gilda And Meek "Groundwork" Special Edition (Un-Iverse #1)

Rating: PG-13 (Bloody Violence and Drug Use).  A Note About The Special Edition Of Gilda And Meek "Groundwork" The first version of Groundwork looked absolutely terrible. I had not drawn in over 15 years when I put it to paper in 2015 and my weak arm and lettering indecisions made the issue look incredibly unprofessional. Not my best foot forward for getting people into Gilda And Meek on this site.  So I've taken the occasion to entirely redo the artwork with some minor script revisions. It looks much closer to my current art style and yet I feel the rough spirit of the first version is still present. As the Groundwork for the canon, it was sort of designed to be the worst issue to start out with, and to be built upon and improved from there. I think it's probably still the worst issue (as designed) but I'm no longer ashamed of the artwork. Site Clean-Up Updates And Reports Archive

  Here is the site progress for our clean-up!  Goals:  Cleaning up typos and mistakes, and changing every instance of Unkie Matty to Unkie Natty. Not ALL typos will be fixed (a bunch will not even be caught) but that's okay because as established in Lace Doilies "Silent, But Deadly" the typos are actually canon, whether I fix some of them or not.  What will NOT be cleaned up:  The messed up page numbers in the earlier issues. WAY too big a chore with no benefit. Worse, if I decide to do a Special Edition later on all that work would be meaningless. The wrong page numbering is just a mistake we will have to learn to live with. Formatting of this entry: Before the site clean-up became the massive undertaking it did, I simply added each day's work onto the end of the post.
