1. Lace Doilies "Public Origins" (Un-Iverse #49)

Rating: PG. (Silly violence, scatological humor, mild language.

Author's Note for Lace Doilies #1 "Public Origins" (Un-Iverse #49)

Take note: When Meek tells Angela Feline about Donna "There were absolutely no outward signs," the character of Donna Demented has served her entire purpose. I created her entirely to have Meek say that line on television after the fact in the first issue of Lace Doiles (planned as a teenager 25 years ago). The sequel The Supplements will add context to how bad it really is, but Donna's clearly outrageous behavior was done as a knock on the neighbors of serial killers who say they were quiet and never bothered anybody.

Some people might be confused about seeing Meek now, especially since I made a big to-do about Gilda and Meek being entirely absent in this part of the saga. It's the Eleventh Doctor's cameo in the Twelfth Doctor's first Doctor Who episode "Deep Breath". It's okay because it's JUST the once. That was the idea behind it, although weirdly, since this has been planned for decades, I had the idea way before Stephen Moffat did.

Next Issue: F.I.S.H. #2 "The Society Of The Broken Egg" (Un-Iverse #50)
