1. UnComix Tales: Howler "Infecteds" (Un-Iverse #26)

Rating: PG-13. (Strong bloody violence, sexual situations, adult themes, partial nudity, brief mild language, and a rude hand gesture).

Author's Note for UnComix Tales #1: Howler "Infecteds" (Un-Iverse #26)

Not much to note about the Howler story other than I like it. It's solid.

Do you know what I love about the "Dirtbag-Off" with The Bug Aliens? They abducted Bill, Stella, Narf-Narf, and Chirp for supposedly being the biggest scumbags on planet Earth and their contests of debauchery are essentially teenage make-out games. Yes, there is sex involved, but so what? The reader will be left to think the Author is incredibly square if strip poker and sex in a closet is the most perverted thing I can imagine for these guys.

The Gilda And Meek Halloween story is a good reminder to the reader that the UnComix Tales Interludes are NOT like the One-Shots. Gilda And Meek are always very much present. I very much love Bernadette in this story, especially her serial killer reaction (cribbed from the TV show Hannibal) to the kid dressed as Tina Fey. Gilda's response to that being "You have some strong opinions about some things," is pretty much perfect too.
