8. F.I.S.H. "Vulgaris Returns" (Un-Iverse #62)

Rating: PG. Honestly? Some adult-skewed political themes but the actual content of the issue is unusually mild, especially for this stage of the game. A bit of a respite for me, to be honest.  F.I.S.H. #8 "Vulgaris Returns" (Un-Iverse #62)  It's decent but it was perhaps foolish of me to bill this one as a "Famous Talky Issue". I mean, it IS a talky issue, but the Famous Talky Issues are labeled as such because they are amazing. This issue most certainly is not. I feel like me holding it up to the other Famous Talky Issues is me writing a check my butt can't cash.  Next Issue: Lace Doilies #8 "Bad Timing" (Un-Iverse #63) Back To The Index If you like Gilda And Meek Buy Me A Coffee! 7. Lace Doilies "The Canvas And The Letter" (Un-Iverse #61)

Rating Hard PG-13/R. The first story is closer to an R with its Vic Puff grossness but the second (fun) story has it's share of bloody violence too. Look out for gore, adult themes, strong language, sexual situations, and discussions of rape in this one.  Author's Note for Lace Doilies #7 "The Canvas And The Letter" (Un-Iverse #61) Darkness and then light. That is the major theme.  When Bernadette says she is secretly rich, she is being truthful. Stay tuned for The Supplements, folks.  "The Lace Doilies are here today," was long supposed to be a running gag when I envisioned the title going back decades, and I'm glad this isn't the first time I was able to use it. It's not as ever-present as planned, but it's been used more than once too.  Next Issue: F.I.S.H. #8 "Vulgaris Returns" (Un-Iverse #62) Back To The Index If you like Gilda And Meek Buy Me A Coffee!
